Medical Surgical Nursing

A surgical nurse is a medical professional who specialises in caring for patients before, during, and after surgery. They are often referred to as perioperative nurses or operating room nurses. The field of perioperative (surgical) nursing is dynamic and demanding, and it provides many opportunities for both personal and professional growth. Surgical technicians and surgical nurses collaborate to set up and organise the operating room. They still need a qualified and skilled crew to carry out an operation successfully because one slip or mistake during these procedures could be the difference between life and death.
