Community Health Nursing

Public health nurses are nurses that specialise in community health. Community health nurses or public health nurses are registered nurses who work in public health environments including county or state health agencies, schools, jails, and businesses. The identification of health problems in the community and the provision of medical care to people who might not have access to or the means to pay for it are two of a community health nurse's main duties. They usually develop strong bonds and enduring ties with the people they help because of their roles as community caregivers.
