Diabetes Nursing

A metabolic illness called diabetes, sometimes referred to as diabetes mellitus, is characterised by abnormally high blood glucose levels. The three types of diabetes include type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, and gestational diabetes. A nurse who specialises in the care and management of diabetic patients is known as a diabetes nurse. They could be registered nurses, nurses with advanced practise certifications, or nurses with a wider range of experience. They can control people with Type I and Type II diabetes as well as pregnant women with the disease. Patients might get diabetes education in a group environment or one-on-one. Diabetes nurse educators must also instruct patients on the value of food and nutrition
